Class Description
Gentle Hatha is exactly as it sounds, a gentle and much slower-paced Hatha practice. A practice incorporating more warm-up movements, numerous modifications utilizing props, and spending a lengthened amount of time in each posture allows the body to develop muscle memory for each individual's body anatomy. The benefits of a Gentle Hatha practice allow you to move at a comfortable pace not pushing to the point of being uncomfortable allowing for less strain on muscles and joints, experience heightened body awareness, reduced stress, improved posture and balance, deeper and fuller breathing, stronger muscles, increased joint mobility, strengthened concentration, overall health improvement, and a greater sense of well-being.
